About Us
The office of
Thomas J. Satalino, Certified Public Account, has been open for the practice of
public accounting since November 1990. Originally located at 211 New Britain
Road, Kensington, CT, the firm quickly outgrew its space and moved to its
present location at 50 Chamberlain Highway, Kensington, CT.
As a Certified
Public Accounting Firm, we are qualified to assist you with your tax planning
and preparation needs. We can prepare individual, partnership, corporation,
estate and trust returns, plus those required by local taxing authorities.
In
addition we can help formulate budgets or forecasts for a short or long term
business plans. Computer setup and maintenance of accounting functions can help
your business grow and ease the burden of manual financial record keeping.
Services for businesses also include preparing financial statements, payroll
reports, business tax returns and other documents required by local, state, or
federal agencies.
Thomas J. Satalino,
CPA, of New Britain, spent four years working as the tax manager for a public
accounting firm in Rocky Hill, and twelve years for the Internal Revenue Service
in the Hartford District as a Revenue Agent before opening his own practice.
He
has over 25 years experience in the financial reporting, tax consultation, and
preparation areas.
Supporting Staff
include Steven A. Kieltyka, CPA, of New Britain and Colleen O. Murphy, CPA of
Berlin. Mr. Kieltyka, our tax manager, also worked for the Internal Revenue
Service in the Hartford District, first as a Revenue Agent for eight years, and
then as a Criminal Investigation Agent for five years. He is also fluent in Polish.
Ms. Murphy received her CPA certificate in Colorado, and is also an attorney
having passed the Bar Exam in Connecticut. She is in charge of special projects.
Other supporting
staff members include Sarah Joyce-Grikis, also from the New Britain, who has
been with the firm since the beginning. She is responsible for office
operations, and the data input and processing of tax returns. April Melluzzo of
Farmington previously worked in a public accounting firm in Rocky Hill for six
years as an office assistant and performs the same duties with us. She also owns
and operates her own dance studio.
The firm is a
member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the
Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
